ARH 116 - Renaissance to Modern Art and Architecture


This course explores art and visual culture from the European Renaissance to modernism in the late 19th-century. The class emphasizes the relationship of the visual arts and architecture to political and cultural movements in society, and introduces students to various methods of art-historical analysis.
