HTY 212S - Renaissance and Reformation

Major political, economic, cultural, and religious developments in Western European history from about 1400 to 1650. Course will also consider the global context in which these developments occurred, how they impacted people from different walks of life, and scholars’ debates about how best to describe and characterize this period.
