PHY 497 - Independent Study in Physics Independent study affords the opportunity for a student to pursue in depth a topic otherwise unavailable in normal course offerings. This is done under the direction of a physics faculty member. Examples of possible topics are: Optics, Analytical Mechanics, Intermediate Astronomy, Fluid Dynamics, Computer Simulations, Intermediate Electricity and Magnetism. Pass/Fail: Pass/Fail option Course Typically Offered: Varies.
Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor.
