SKI 122 - Theory of Ski Instruction This is the first of three courses (also including SKI 124 and SKI 125 ) intended to help prepare candidates for a Level 1 PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) certification in ski/snowboard instruction. The class will include learning the following: ski/ride concepts and technical skills, BASE [Basic Alpine Skills Evaluation] skills, how to instruct children, and group and guest service management. The class will include presentations by several guest speakers from the industry.
