HEA 231 - Child and Adolescent Health A study of human development and preventable health problems afflicting children and adolescents, with special focus on education and health promotion interventions. Topics include communicable disease, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, obesity, asthma, diabetes, and teen pregnancy. Includes components of teaching methods of this topic area for K-12. Course Typically Offered: Every spring.
