HEA 245 - Nutrition and Ecological Concerns An analytical study of the ecological factors surrounding food production and food consumption worldwide. Discussions will include the synthesis of information about land use, animal and plant production, and social and cultural issues involved with food choices. The role of the production of non-food foods and highly-processed foods will be analyzed. Includes components of teaching methods of this topic area for K-12. Course Typically Offered: Every spring.
