EDU 505 - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for Multilingual Learners This course fosters course participants’ abilities to modify and adapt learning environments that support the diversity of linguistic, cultural, and social experiences that all students bring to the classroom. Through the examination of various ESOL curricula, materials, strategies, and assessments participants will look at language literacy skills, curriculum adaptation for language minorities, and design appropriate assessments connected to learning objectives for Multilingual Learners within the curriculum. Participants will develop a pedagogical understanding that effectively connects culturally situated knowledge to equitable learning experiences.
