EDU 596 - Mathematics Coaching: Empowering Educators for Effective Practice

As a result of taking this course, educators will be able to apply the fundamental principles of mathematics coaching in practice. They will analyze their school or district’s coaching preparedness, conduct observations, research topics related to the needs they identify, and develop a suite of practical tools to support their work. 

Prerequisites & Notes
Students must be accepted into the Leadership Track of UMF’s Master’s in Mathematics Education or into the Mathematics Coaching Certificate.
