PSY 545 - Group Counseling This course will provide students with a foundational understanding of group theory and practice. Students will examine concepts such as group development and dynamics, group leaders’ roles and styles, membership roles and objectives as they apply to different types of groups. Special needs of diverse populations and their appropriate group interventions will be discussed. Students will have an opportunity to practice group facilitation and will prepare them to work with various types of groups.
