PSY 585 - Career Development and Counseling This course will engage students in the theories and history of career counseling. We will explore counseling approaches, ethical issues, and their application to clinical practice. This course will emphasize understanding the interrelationships among and between work, family, and other life roles and factors, including the role of diversity and gender in career development. Students will practice both career assessment and career exploration strategies and will learn to identify a client’s stage of career decision-making.
