MAT 304 - College Geometry


This course is an exploration in Euclidean and Non-Euclidean geometries. Emphasis will be placed on axiomatic method and proof, transformations and congruence, the significance of the parallel postulate, and proving fundamental results such as the Pythagorean theorem. Historical perspectives and real-life applications of geometry will be included. Course Typically Offered: Every odd fall.

Prerequisite(s): 10 credits in MAT including MAT 141 .
