REH 310 - Principles of Casework In this course, students will articulate the purpose of intakes, identify resources for medical information, and complete an intake. Students will evaluate assessment needs and limitations and then write and evaluate a treatment plan. In addition, students will learn how to monitor and document progress, analyze ethical dilemmas with the guidance or professional codes of ethics, and develop a resource directory for a specific population and catchment area. Required for the MHRT/C. Course Typically Offered: Every Spring.
Prerequisite(s): REH 200 Counseling and the Helping Relationship or PSY 235 Introduction to Counseling .
