PSY 203 - Aviation Psychology


Students will examine human psychology as it relates to aviation. Aviation Psychology is the study of human cognition, behavior, and emotion while engaged in aviation-related activities. This course explores aeronautical decision making (ADM); crew resource management (CRM); information capacity and training  decay; safety and accident investigation; human error (e.g., distraction, fatigue, communication failures) in aviation; human physiology and flight; well-being and mental health in aviation; work-life balance unique to aviation.  Course Typically Offered: Every other Fall.

Prerequisite(s): None.
