English for Speakers of Other Languages, Certificate

The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Graduate Certificate is designed for practicing teachers interested in working with students who are unable to communicate fluently or learn effectively in English, who often come from non-English-speaking homes and backgrounds, and who typically require specialized or modified instruction in both the English language and in their academic courses.

Certificate Requirements: Total 15 credits

Completion of this certificate requires the following five (5) UMF courses:
