Math Intervention Specialist, Certificate

The Math Intervention Specialist certificate program will prepare K-12 teachers to identify students who need assistance in mathematics and to address the needs of these students through assessment-informed and focused interventions.

Certificate Requirements

Completion of this Certificate requires four (4) UMF courses:

EDU 524 - Advanced Math Methods Credits: 3
or
EDU 561 - Middle/Secondary Mathematics Education Credits: 3
EDU 526 - Assessment Course & Research-Based Intervention Practices Credits: 3
EDU 527 - Using Data for Teaching/Learning in Support of All Students in Mathematics Credits: 3
EDU 528 - Leading the RTI Process in Mathematics Credits: 3
