PSY 560 - Measurement and Evaluation This course will provide students with an overview of the theoretical and practical basis for assessment. Students will develop an understanding of how reliability, validity, and psychometric statistics are applied to the development of psychological assessments before being introduced to a wide range of assessment instruments. Ethical application of tests will be a theme throughout the course. The importance of interviewing the client, considering the client’s intersecting identities, and utilizing measurement results in treatment planning will be discussed in the context of assessment.
