EDU 330 - Young Adult Literature This course focuses on the rapidly expanding genre of young adult literature and its classroom uses. Prospective teachers will read widely in the genre, familiarizing themselves with authors, titles, trends, and recent developments. At the same time, they will consider questions of the role of reading and literature in the classroom and the lives of students, as well as plan curriculum and instruction around the genre. Course Typically Offered: Spring only.
Prerequisite(s): Candidacy in Education or permission of the instructor.
