POS 252 - Modern Political Theory This course is designed to introduce students to political theory that underpins the contemporary study of politics in Western societies. Students will analyze a variety of writings beginning with Western philosophers in the late 18th century up through current debates among political theorists and activists from around the world. The course will concentrate on alternative concepts of and debates regarding the tension between equality and liberty. Course Typically Offered: Every 2 years.
