COS 370 - Machine Learning


This course teaches students how to build computer models that learn from experience. Includes the three main subfields: supervised learning, reinforcement learning, and unsupervised learning. Emphasizes practical and theoretical understanding of the most widely used algorithms (classification, decision trees, neural networks, support vector machines). Covers connections to data mining and statistical modeling. Course Typically Offered: Odd fall.
