BUS 110 - Introduction to Business This course will introduce students to essential concepts and practices of business, including organizational forms, entrepreneurship, operation, leadership and management, accounting and finance, marketing, and human resources. Additional topics will be retail, risk management, business ethics, and environmental factors that impact business such as government and current business issues. The understanding of essential business concepts is valuable to students not only wanting to pursue a career in business, whether it is owning and running their own business or working for a larger organization or company; but also to career in the nonprofit or government sectors. Note: This course is equivalent to BUS130; students may receive credit for only one of these courses. Course Typically Offered: Every year.
