French, Minor

Required Courses:

• FRE 102H - Elementary French II Credits: 4
• FRE 201H - Intermediate French Credits: 4
• At least three courses in French beyond 201 Credits: 12

Total Credits for the Minor: 20

Students who spend a semester in France or a Francophone country may apply up to 12 credits from their study abroad to the minor. Approval for course substitutions must be obtained from the French faculty.

 A minimum of one third of the required credits must be earned at UMF for a minor to be awarded.
