ENG 346 - Victorian Literature


Study of British literature written during the period from the first Reform Bill (1832) through the death of Queen Victoria (1901). Texts chosen from the works of writers such as the Brontes, the Brownings, Carlyle, Dickens, George Elliot, Gaskell, Hopkins, Christina Rossetti, and Tennyson. Note: This course is not a Humanities distribution. Pass/Fail: Pass/Fail option Course Typically Offered: Every 2 years.

Prerequisite(s): One 200-level ENG literature course.
