ENG 383 - Video Games and Identity


Video games have consistently sparked debates about individual identity in recent decades. This course will require students to study several central topics within these debates by playing a variety of video games that raise issues of identity. Topics to be explored include historical racial representation, self-definition of sexual identity, and social justice within video games. Note: This course is not a Humanities distribution. Course Typically Offered: Every 2 years.

Prerequisite(s): One 300-level ENG literature course other than ENG 300, or permission of instructor.
