MAT 105 - Data, Statistics, and Probability for Elementary Teachers

This class will examine mathematical knowledge for teaching in the content areas of measurement and data, statistics, and probability. Focus will be on elementary school mathematics, examined through the lens of teaching. Students will engage with research-based student and teacher practices to develop their own data literacy and to learn how to support the development of data literacy in elementary school children. Course Typically Offered: Every semester.
