CHY 101 - Introduction to Cannabis Chemistry

This course introduces students to the basic chemical principles as they apply to the unique phytochemistry of Cannabis. The course will cover basic chemical principles such as atoms, compounds, chemical bonding and compound formation, and solubility. The structure and function of Cannabinoid compounds and an introduction to the chemistry of extraction will also be presented. (Online asynchronous) Course Typically Offered: Every fall.
