BUS 326 - Social Media Marketing Social media has given individuals greater power over marketers, firms, and brands; consequently, organizations worldwide are facing major changes in how consumers interact with firms and with each other. This course will enable students to develop the knowledge, perspectives, and skills required to develop social media strategies and tactics that leverage the opportunities to build relationships and engage with customers. We will examine consumers’ online social interactions, content development for popular social media platforms, and the development of appropriate marketing strategies and tactics. Course Typically Offered: Every 2 years.
Prerequisite(s): BUS 220 or permission of the instructor.
