MAT 251 - Linear Algebra

Introduction to linear algebra and its applications. Topics may include matrix operations, systems of linear equations, determinants, vector spaces, linear transformations, orthogonality, eigenvalues, Markov processes, linear programming and the use of mathematical software in modeling and problem solving. Prerequisite(s): Two years of high school algebra or permission of the instructor.
