PHY 116 - Energy, Physics, and the Environment We introduce selected topics in physics necessary for a solid understanding of what energy is at a fundamental level. With this as a basis we look at how we produce energy for human use, what we can understand about the limitations of energy resources and production, and how energy use connects with environmental concerns. Course Typically Offered: Every spring.
Prerequisite(s): Science major, science ed. major, or permission of the instructor.
