PSY 220 - Psychology of Gender

This course examines the latest psychological theory and research on gender, including theory on the development of gender roles in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. In addition, by using gender as a primary component of inquiry, students examine relationships (family, romantic and workplace relationships), achievement, sexual orientation, emotion, mental health, and therapy.
