PSY 560 - Measurement and Evaluation This course will provide students with an overview of the theoretical and practical basis for assessment.Students will develop an understanding of how reliability, validity and psychometric statistics are appliedto the development of psychological assessments before being introduced to a wide range ofassessment instruments. Ethical application of tests will be a theme throughout the course. Theimportance of interviewing the client, considering the client’s intersecting identities, and utilizingmeasurement results in treatment planning will be discussed in the context of assessment.
